PL+US, Paid Leave in the United States, is a national campaign to win paid family leave by 2022. PL+US was founded by Katie Bethell, , in 2016, who also serves as the executive director. It is a grass roots, single issue organization, created as a gateway for advocacy, that is based in San Francisco. PL+US engages with corporations to better understand how they want to handle these issues, and how to include all employees, so they can benefit from new policies. They also have a corporate listening tour to get perspective from all over the country. PL+US also strives to provide equal leave to men/women, birth/adoptive, low-wage/high-wage through their #EqualParents Initiative. PL+US also works with local, state, and national government through digital organizing, media campaigning, and legislative advocacy. They have won paid leave for 6 million employees at companies like Starbuck, CVS, and Walmart. PL+US is an inclusive organization fighting for all employees at an issue that many people face, and is very supportive of Gillibrand’s Family Act bill.

Every Mother Counts (EMC) is a global organization whose mission is to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere. They understand the first step towards being a parent in your child's life is to be there in the first place. A woman dies every 2 minutes around the world from childbirth complications. EMC's approach is to educate woman and healthcare workers, provide grants and place women in their centers when needed. Making sure all women have access to quality medical services and technologies is their number one priority. They are working with Senators and Members of Congress to create laws and acts to better the healthcare for women, address biases in the medical industry and a variety of other related issues.

MomRising.org is a grassroots organization that uses women’s voices in order to stand up and speak out to shift public policy for mother’s in the United States in terms of discrimination, healthcare, and paid family leave in order to illuminate a lacking equity that is seen in these various facets. They have facilitated various campaigns since their beginning in 2006, including workplace justice, child nutrition and education, health care, and notably, paid parental leave. MomsRising strives to provide accurate information regarding the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and propel its ideals from local to federal legislation. The organization also has worked to create the Motherhood Manifesto, a book designed to bring light to mothers' experiences with leave, that garners support through a personal and direct approach. Through ithe multitude of its campaigns and supporters, MomsRising strives to create a family-centered approach within modern America.

MenCare is a global fatherhood campaign active in more than 50 countries on five continents, coordinated by Promundo and Sonke Gender Justice. Their mission is to promote men’s involvement as equitable, nonviolent fathers and caregivers in order to achieve family well-being, gender equality, and better health for mothers, fathers, and children. They aim for men to be allies in supporting women’s social and economic equality, in part by taking on more responsibility for childcare and domestic work. They believe that true equality will only be reached when men are taking on 50 percent of the world’s child care and domestic work.
